Established in 1897 to hydrate the thirsty prospectors of the Klondike Gold Rush, the Skagway Brewing Company continues to create fresh unfiltered ales for today’s local and traveling crowd. Our signature brew, the Spruce Tip Blonde Ale, contains hand-picked Sitka Spruce tip buds native to the area, giving it a delicious citrusy finish and an extra boost of vitamin C!
Here at Skagway Brewing we are proud to carry on the pioneering spirit in our commitment to sustainability. On the third floor of our establishment, we have a year-round aeroponic farm and we are 100% sustainable with our mixed greens and 80% of our herbs used in our kitchen. We have a high production rate in a small space, giving us food security for our three restaurants and the community of Skagway.
