I first set foot in this beautiful state as a seasonal employee in 2008 and decided to make it my home in 2010. My Alaskan journey began in the capital city of Juneau, where I lived for five years, absorbing the culture, community, and lifestyle of the place. In 2016, I made the decision to move to Skagway, a small town known for its gold rush history. Over the past nine years, I have become an integral part of the Skagway community, contributing my part as a year-round resident.

During the long winter months, when the town is enveloped in snow, I found solace in knitting.I learned to create intricately designed hats and scarves. In 2019, family opened our small gift shop in town. We started designing, engraving, and made gift items. Our store showcases the essence of Alaskan craftsmanship, a testament to our love for the community and the state.

Alaska has not just been a home for me, but a canvas where I painted my dreams, knitted my aspirations, and engraved my endeavors.
