Boreal means ‘of the North’ and local artist and owners Stephanie Ryan & Aric Baldwin bring together products that connect visitors to the amazing artists and creators of Alaska and the North. Local fine art, birch bark earrings, caribou antler mugs, wild herbal teas & candles, porcupine quill jewelry, locally and hand-made silver and gold earrings, Alaskan art yoga mats and backpacks, cards, notebooks, and stickers!
Boreal Artworks is also home to Aurora Yarns of Alaska, a well loved yarn shop with one of the largest color collections of the incredible northern fiber ~ qiviut ~ from the muskox! We also have a large selection of gorgeous hand-dyed yarns from around Alaska! Knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, embroidery, needle felting and more – find a project for your travels or a truly unique Alaskan gift!
We are open year round and are located across from the Post Office! Looking forward to seeing you!
